With the passage of the 2018 Farm Bill, industrial hemp has taken center stage! The legalization of hemp as an agricultural commodity is an exciting game changer and one with great growth potential for hemp growers.

Industrial Hemp Varieties & Uses

While there are countless uses of hemp, there are 3 main categories of varieties; Grain, Fiber and CBD.  It has been said that a grain farmer would be most adapted to growing hemp for grain, a Hay producer would be most adapted at growing hemp for fiber, and a vegetable or tobacco grower being best adapted to growing hemp for CBD.
